Strains, sprains, and other injuries happen all too easily to those who live a largely sedentary lifestyle and then exercise vigorously or inappropriately. Adrian Yahvah has built a reputation for handling such cases with skill and compassion, drawing on his expertise in massage techniques and hands-on treatment of injuries to find the best possible treatment to get clients back on track as soon as possible.
Adrian graduated from the University of Montana in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Science in health and human performance (with a focus on athletic training). Later he went on to complete a Master’s degree in exercise science which involved strict requirements to complete extensive hours in the field with athletes of all types, as well as in doctors’ clinics and physiotherapy settings. Following this, Adrian studied with Aaron Mattes, the founder of the increasingly popular Active Isolated Stretching technique. A.I.S. can be applied in a comfortable way that makes it an ideal modality during pregnancy and for pre- and post-surgical conditions. It is a safe and effective method to quickly improve balance and range of motion that also positively affects the lymphatic and circulatory systems.
Since moving to Hong Kong in 2008, Adrian has built his practice utilising A.I.S and combining it with other hands-on remedies, including deep tissue massage and/or other indirect techniques such as strain-counter-strain, Neurostructural Reintegration Technique (NST), and lymphatic drainage for acute injury treatment. He has continued to refine his blend of techniques to treat a wide range of conditions such as strains, sprains, and chronic and acute pain.
Initial sessions focus on establishing the client’s goals and usually involve A.I.S. to assess joint mobility and quality of motion. Corrective taping may also be applied in certain cases to enhance or support the treatment goals. A home exercise programme and suggestions for changes to diet and lifestyle are usually encouraged in order to get the best results.

I thought I would send you a note to say thank you for all of your help over the past few months or so. I have to say that after my slipped disc and consequent advice from my Consultant recommending a lifestyle change, I had depressing visions of me living with a walking stick and struggling with basic movement well before my time at 40. I guess I am not alone in that I worked long hours in an office and didn’t regulate my diet and exercise properly, if at all. The resulting injury was likely due to too many years of neglect. So, I decided to take this injury as a “wake up call” for myself. I am amazed at what you have done for me. I have had constant pain in my lower back since I can remember, by stretching my legs and back without any real pain or fuss you managed to cure it in one session. That is something that four Chiropractors over 7 years of monthly visits failed to achieve.
