Emotional Freedom Technique Levels I, II & III
Matrix Reimprinting Practioner

A series of challenging life experiences led me to Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) about two years ago. I can honestly say it has made me a happier person. I had a sadness about me I didn't understand, and I had tried counseling on and off for 20 years. The counseling didn't help much, and I was not one to take anti-depressants. I also tried other forms of energetic healing, but while they worked for others, they did not seem to work for me.

It was only when I discovered EFT that I was able to understand the reasons or causes of my mood swings, and actively choose a positive frame of mind over a negative. There are only two basic feelings - one good, the other bad - even though we may give them names such as anger, happiness, resentment, or gratitude. How we feel is critical to our physical health, but we often find ourselves asking, what does it really mean to think positive? Learning how to stay positive takes determined focus, but these are techniques you can easily use at home, wherever or whenever you feel the need.

EFT is a safe, quick and effective way to achieve your desired results. I can teach you techniques to improve your mood, calm your emotions and create good vibrations, using the law of attraction to get more of what you want in life. Negative emotions such as anger, sadness, depression, guilt, anxiety, resentment, or fear create blocks in our body's energy circuits. Left untreated, these blocks can cause disease. In most cases, EFT can quickly and effectively remove these blocks by stimulating the body's meridian points with tapping techniques and positive affirmations. Neutralizing negative emotions brings about clarity, and allows you to think about the problem and find a better solution.

The first step in the process is accepting you have the negative emotion or behavior. The second step is the desire to change that into something more positive. Together we can find words to define what triggers your emotions, and tailor positive affirmations: happy, grateful, peaceful, loving, living in abundance, calm - it's your choice.

EFT improves self-esteem because it uses positive affirmations and self-love to heal and 'accept yourself just as you are'; the simple act of acceptance removes resistance. Self-sabotaging behaviour, cravings, addictions and bad habits can also disappear. EFT is safe for children, and I have successfully used it with both of my young sons (aged 14 and 11) for school, sports, friendships, sadness, abundance, etc. It teaches them about feelings, and helps them find what makes them happy. EFT is also effective on much younger children; I use a teddy bear to demonstrate the tapping points, while using age appropriate language.

EFT is great for phobias; in fact, it cured my paralyzing fear of spiders. As a child, I played with all kinds of bugs - grasshoppers, ladybugs, lightening bugs, June bugs and even spiders! However, in my late teens, I was bitten by a venomous Brown Recluse spider; the infection and subsequent surgical treatment left me absolutely terrified of spiders. I did not see the spider that bit me, or even feel the bite but regardless, I spent the next 25 years petrified of spiders. I could spot one several yards away just by the way it moved. It didn't matter if the spider was small, dead, plastic or even made of rubber! Whenever one got too close or took me by surprise, I would scream so loudly my throat would hurt. Anyone with this phobia can relate! Once I learned EFT could remove or improve my phobia, I tapped for my fear of spiders. I can still spot them from across the room, but now the terror is gone. If no one is around to take care of it for me, I can catch them and release them outside. I can even flick the tiny ones off my body when I'm out hiking or gardening.

Matrix Reimprinting is very similar to EFT but allows one to change hurtful memories caused from traumatic experience or perceptions from the past and to recreate better memories. Most of us have experienced traumas at a young age. Keep in mind that what is traumatic to a very young child may not be traumatic to an adult. This trauma is stored in the cells of our body. This stored memory can cause us to relive the trauma by making the same mistakes, attracting negative situations or people, or hanging on to old beliefs. When we recall the earliest memory by "chasing the pain", we change the memory to create a better feeling by emotionally changing the past.

I've had excellent success with clients dealing with fears, anger, sadness, bad habits (such as cigarette smoking), food cravings, and substance abuse. I continue to expand my knowledge of energetic healing through courses, webinars, similar modalities, and literature. I am currently studying business abundance and making school easier for children.
