Caroline Rhodes is the founder of the Hong Kong holistic clinic, The Body Group. She qualified as a physiotherapist in 1985 and has spent the past 30 years working as a health care practitioner in the US and Hong Kong. In addition, she has received accreditation in many traditional and complementary therapies, including:
- Craniosacral Therapy to address the central nervous system and thereby all systems in the body.
- Lymphatic Drainage to boost the immune system, which is essential for the healing of any chronic illness.
- Trigger Point and Myofascial Release to assist the connective tissue to release old patterns and to reduce or eliminate pain.
Caroline has a twin sister, Gina Day, who is a Certified Chiropractic Assistant and who is also certified as a Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Prior to moving into the health field, Gina was an engineer in the aerospace industry for 21 years and she also obtained a BS in Business Management. Both sisters share a passion for holistic health and believe that all pain, illness and chronic conditions stem from an imbalance in the body. This could be in any one or a combination of the physical, biochemical or emotional aspects of each living organism.
Both Caroline and Gina are certified practitioners in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Matrix Reimprinting (MR), and Meta Health. These modalities work quickly to find the root cause of illness, whether physical or mental, and bring about healing and balance. They also work in a powerful way to release trauma and heal emotional wounds, including those caused by sexual assault, child abuse and accidents. Clients have reported moving from fear, anxiety, depression and phobias to a state of confidence, optimism and wellbeing.
Caroline and Gina will be offering joint sessions for a limited period in January 2015. Working simultaneously on a client, they can offer an extraordinary depth of intuitive healing, which they attribute to the fact that they are twins and often share the same insights. In a typical session, Caroline will do body work on the client while Gina will work with EFT and MR.
Prior to treatment, an initial assessment will be carried out. This Meta Health Analysis will address the physical, physiological and energetic bodies and will determine the specific modes of treatment that are appropriate.

What P.E.T. Can Do For Families
All parents want their children to exhibit emotional self-regulation, to speak assertively and to act out of consideration for others (rather than to avoid punishment or get a reward). P.E.T. gives parents a roadmap and lots of practice to help them reach these goals.
Parents will learn concrete ways to meet their children’s needs as well as their own and to solve problems in an enduring way that fosters closeness. Dr. Thomas Gordon, the founder of P.E.T., was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize three times; these communication skills truly improve all human relationships.

- Mother has been able to Active Listen her tween daughter who, over time, has felt safe enough to open up about being bullied at school. The process of listening helped the daughter to feel understood and to find her own solution and approach to the bully. About the P.E.T. Course

This allows parents to go home, practice and come back with their questions. Catherine tailors the material to meet the needs of the ten participants – your time is precious and Catherine wants the role-plays and exercises to be relevant.

Catherine is a Korean American mother of three (16, 14, 11). After graduating from Brown University, she received a Masters of Social Work from Hunter College in New York City, followed by a law degree from New York University. She has lived in Hong Kong seven years.
Now a certified Parent Effectiveness Training instructor, she has found her calling holding courses and writing a “P.E.T. Vitamins” Blog applying the skills to everyday scenarios.
